WHAT IS The Aromatouch Technique?
The ArōmaTouch Technique ® (ATT) is a specialized aromatherapy service and clinical approach to applying essential oils. While soothing and relaxing, it is not a full body massage. ATT is a 45 minute to 1 hour treatment that involves the application of a specific sequence of essential oils along the spine and the hands and feet, combined with the benefits of human touch to create an amazing overall wellness experience. Developed by Dr. David Hill, a leading expert in integrative medicine and therapeutic applications of essential oils, the ArōmaTouch Technique ® improves well-being and supports overall health. The essential oils are purposely applied along energy lines, meridians and reflexology points to stimulate homeostasis and balance the body. ArōmaTouch Technique® helps to improve your entire well-being by reducing physical and emotional stressors and is effective for helping to treat individuals of any age.

what to expect
First and foremost, a private, safe and non-judgemental space is created where you can feel comfortable to relax and enjoy this unique aromatherapy service. Meditative music is played. You will then be asked to remove your shirt/top/bra but not your pants or underwear (technique is never performed, nude) and may be given a comfortable spa robe to change into. Many clients prefer to change into a swimsuit or shorts. The session begins with a gentle 10 minute Epsom salts foot soak. You will proceed to lay face down on the massage table. The certified ArōmaTouch Technique ® practitioner will then begin the application of eight (8) specific, Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils. Applying them to your spine, back, hands and soles of your feet, in gentle circular movements using their thumbs and fingers.
