Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in ancient India. It involves a combination of physical postures, breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation. Our private, one-on-one yoga sessions are customized just for you. The Registered Yoga Teacher takes into consideration your individual and unique combination of physical, psychological and spiritual needs. We are all built differently and that is okay, we are unique in our own way and we adapt to the poses with our own expression.
It's not about flexibility and more about the prana (breath or life force). Yoga has been shown to promote endurance, strength, calmness, flexibility and well-being.
Think of yoga as a moving meditation, where we incorporate breathwork to help quiet the mind. Yoga has been proven to be beneficial support for sufferers of anxiety, depression, sleeping difficulties as well as being a great choice of low impact exercise.
Focusing on your well being, cultivate the energy from within, dedicate that healing energy to a loved one or a manifestation throughout your private yoga practice. Yoga is all about energy, discovering the divine power that we house and sharing it with others.
We can help you tap into that in a one-on-one yoga session specifically designed for your health and wellness.
Our Registered Yoga Teachers take into consideration the individual and unique combination of physical, psychological and spiritual needs of each client and tailors a complete program including carefully selected pranayamas, asanas and meditation just for them and their abilities/comfort. Our teachers are certified and registered with the Yoga Alliance and are caring, experienced professionals that provide a safe, judgment free space in which to privately enjoy the holistic benefits of yoga. The holistic focus of yoga encourages the integration of mind, body, spirit wellness and deep relaxation resulting in a lighter, calmer you while working on goals and receiving personalized guidance on your practice. In a typical private yoga session the Yoga teacher may start your session with breath work, followed by a physical practice ending with a short meditation in a Shavasana. As these sessions are customized to you, no two sessions may be the same.
